How can I reduce wind buffeting at highway speeds?
http://bikebuffs.com/questions/48/how-can-i-stop-buffeting-at-highway-speeds/55#55 Answer by mLewisLogic for How can I stop buffeting at highway speeds? mLewisLogic 2009-12-16T00:16:28Z 2010-01-20T01:47:32Z
Buffeting is an aerodynamics issue with your bike's setup, and your position on the bike. It is often caused by the wind snapping around an improperly fitted windshield. There are several ways that you can reduce the effects of the wind on you.

Change your windshield - Either buy a windshield, or change your current windshield. It's hard to say exactly what will work before trying it, but generally if the top of the windshield is at nose-level, the wind should flow around you. Some windshields allow for adjustments so that you can experiment with what works best.

Buy lowers - Lowers attach to your fork or highway bars and deflect the wind away from your legs. Although you may not think that the air at your legs is the problem, wind works in funny ways. I've found that good lowers usually solve most buffeting issues.

Adjust your riding position - Lower your seat, lower your bike, get pullback handlebar risers, etc. Certain spots behind your windshield can be worse than others.

Change your helmet - As Bob mentioned, going from a halfie to a full-face can change your aerodynamics and reduce buffeting. On the other hand, going from a full-face to a halfie may change things for the better as well. Experiment.

http://bikebuffs.com/questions/50/is-scraping-the-pegs-dangerous Is scraping the pegs dangerous? mLewisLogic 2009-12-15T23:53:43Z 2010-01-18T14:30:46Z
Aside from wearing down the floorboard nuts, is scraping the pegs dangerous?
http://bikebuffs.com/questions/3/how-many-hp-does-a-stock-suzuki-c90-produce How many HP does a stock Suzuki C90 produce? mLewisLogic 2009-11-12T01:24:15Z 2010-01-16T23:37:56Z
How many HP does a stock Suzuki C90 produce?
http://bikebuffs.com/questions/88/what-is-a-stage-3-setup-for-a-suzuki-c90 What is a stage 3 setup for a Suzuki C90? mLewisLogic 2010-01-15T22:50:29Z 2010-01-16T23:27:23Z
Mentioned by Bobcat in an answer to the question "How many HP does a stock Suzuki C90 produce?"

So... what is a stage 3 setup?
http://bikebuffs.com/questions/4/what-grade-fuel-is-a-cbr900-supposed-to-run-on What grade fuel is a CBR900 supposed to run on? mLewisLogic 2009-11-12T01:38:02Z 2010-01-16T14:04:26Z
I've been running on 93 octane, as recommended by the previous owner, but I'm curious what the official answer is.
http://bikebuffs.com/questions/60/how-do-i-convert-ci-to-cc How do I convert ci to cc? mLewisLogic 2009-12-17T00:39:40Z 2010-01-15T21:28:19Z
How do I convert between cubic inches and cubic centimeters.
